Can R-Studio recover SDHC

I´ve been investigating with the xml file I made for this Camcoder

The fact, is that when I put all the xml file in hex, nothing changes, but if I delete the last signature (from "end") the program found 419 archives (I think that is the whole number of this archives that the Blu-ray had).

But now, the complication is that the capacity of the files. The firt archive is around 5.30 GB (much more than it was, because the files are scenes of a film since ~20MB to ~200-300 or ~500 MB in 1080i resolution), and the other ones are a few less capacity progressively until being of around 2.00 GB (still bigger than the real capacity of them).

I imagine that the problem in xml file have to be the last line, (from "end") that I can´t manage.

I´ve reading the manual again, but I don´t understand very well what is the meaning of the word "offset=" and the number putted after that, and how it works. I don´t know if it is necessary to put it too on the first line (and include from="begin")

This is the xml file that found me 419 files:

Sorry for the delay.
I cannot get the files because the file hoster want me to register on it, I don't want to do that because I don't have spare mails to waste. Can you use another file sharing host that doesn't require registration?

1. I specifically invented a new user group Multimedia Video 1 to find it among other file type groups.
2. Disable the rest of file type groups on the Known File Types dialog box. See the R-Studio online help for details: Disk Scan->Known File Types.
3. No extra spaces between characters except those that exist in the above code!
4. I couldn't play the original files in the standard Windows player, only VLC played them. So, most likely preview won't work.

WOW!, Alt. It works great! The program found the 419 files in Blu-ray, and recovered them perfectly with the original size!

By the way, I noted that the final of the xml archive is same that I made, but have the "offset=188". How do you got this data? What it means?

This is the "distance" (offset) from the end of the file to the first byte in the signature. I just counted it.

I know this topic is little old, but i have exactly same problem as JMPT had and have same cam, my storage card was formatted under win7 and if i am trying to recover files, but they are damaged.
Was someone successful at restoring such video files? I was trying with custom file signature, but i dont really think i've got it right.
Would be very thankful if someone could help.

I have the same problem, all the files and structure are displaying on R-Studio but I only recover currupt or damaged files. I was wondering if I can upload a video to get the necessary code to the knowkn file types. This is an mp4 but from Sony (XDCam-EX codec).

Please let me know and I'll upload a video.
