Discussion on the R-Drive Image software
I was wondering if it would be possible to compress images made by R-Drive after the image is made. It takes too long to wait for the image to be compressed, so we never do compression. But to save space on our file server, I was wondering if it would be possible to add a feature that allows users to compress the image after one has been made. Just browse to the already made image and compress it.
This would be helpful.

Currently that is impossible directly. But a trick has come to my mind: connect an image as a logical disk in R-Drive Image and try to create an image from that disk. I haven't tested that, so, please, post the result if you try it. In any case, R-Drive Image will not change the original image in any way.
But changing image parameters (not the compression ratio alone) will be a good feature.

That may actually work, I will give it a try and see how it goes.
