Computer Recovery and System Restore

Postby Alt » Tue Jul 06, 2010 11:47 am

The article Computer Recovery and System Restore shows how R-Drive Image can be used to greatly reduce time and costs necessary to recover after a computer crash: you can regularly create a backup of the system disk and recover the system to its working conditions after a system crash. The difference between computer recovery using a system restore disk provided by a system manufacturer and the system disk image created by R-Drive Image is that R-Drive Image recovers the system to its pre-crash state with all programs installed and personal data intact whilst the system restore disk recovers the system to its "clean state". Step-by-step instructions are given on how create a startup disk for R-Drive Image, create an image file of the system disk, and restore a system disk to its working state.
