what happens when a scan is resumed?

Post by sudaj » Fri Jul 08, 2016 1:04 pm

Hi,
After a WD Duo 6TB reinitialised / reformatted itself, I looked around and decided to demo R-Studio for Mac.
I ran a scan till it reached 2.54TB and stopped it - had to leave for work.
I tried resuming the scan after loading in the old info but resumption of scanning seems to be very, very slow? Does R-Studio check over the old data first before carrying on?
I was expecting a similar fast processing of the rest of the disk.

As I understand, you loaded previously saved scan info and then, what?
Did you resume scan or started it over again?
In other words, did you use the second or first dialog box on the Disk Scan dialog box?
