R-Drive Image vs R-Studio image options

Post by dalpilot » Sun Jan 04, 2015 10:32 am

Is the drive image functionality in R-Studio essentially the same as that in R-Drive Image? Basically, I want to set up a backup routine that clones my main drive to an identical backup drive. I already own R-Studio so unless there is a compelling reason to get R-Drive Image too I'd probably stick with 'Studio. Thanks.

Exactly the same, although the GUI in R-Studio is less graphic. See R-Studio's help: Object Copy. You may also restore data from an image to a disk. Just open the image in R-Studio and copy it to the disk using the same Object Copy module.
