Scan stuck at 100%?

Postby Ethan » Sat Mar 04, 2017 9:07 am

I have been running a scan on a very large NTFS volume (over 5 tb). it took 7 hours to get to 100%, but it has been at 100% all night now, with no visible scan results. It doesn't seem to be locked up. I know it can take a long time, and I want to be patient but I am in a somewhat time sensitive situation...How long is a normal amount of time to wait? If I hit stop will I be able to see the results of the parts that are completed?

Yes, if R-Studio isn't locked, the scan results will remain. You may save them by right-clicking the volume and selecting Save scan info in the shortcut menu and load them later, if necessary. Moreover, you can resume the scan if necessary. See R-Studio help: Disk scan,Multiple scans.
