I used to use the Microsoft's "Backup and Restore (Windows 7)" until I found out that is useless unless you use it on a drive that it has an already healthy Windows installation.
So I am looking at an alternative.
A website recommended the R-Drive Image, but it's not working.
First of all you don't have a "Create system image" on the menu.
I don't even know if your program can create that but if it can it would be good to put it out there.
So assuming that it can I tried to do it manually by creating a backup of the Windows partition, the UEFI system partition and the Windows Recovery partition, since I don't want to backup the whole drive, which was done successfully.
But then I restored those partitions on another drive, and it did not boot.
So am I doing something wrong or should I look for another program?

Re: System restore is not working
You can't just copy three system partitions to another disk and expect the new system installation to boot successfully. The initial Windows loader needs to know the exact physical address of several system files. They'll be different on different hard drives.
R-Drive Image creates images of existing disks rather than new Windows Installations.
