I think a feature that R-Drive could have and would be nice is to add formatting options. Like, write zeros to entire destination disk drive before apply imaging. This would be for restoring from an image and doing a disk-to-disk clone.

This will wipe the drive before new data is applied and would serve as a decent test to ensure the destination HDD is good or not.

I don't think this is a useful option. Once can look at the disk health by looking at the disk SMART data directly from R-Drive Image, and use a full format to zero-wipe the disk data.
