iTunes - Apple devices logs

Post by saad » Fri Apr 26, 2024 3:54 pm

There are lots of log files at the locations listed below that RWC does not detect:

iTunes desktop
%APPDATA%\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice

iTunes Microsoft Store App
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\AppleInc.iTunes_nzyj5cx40ttqa\LocalCache\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice

The folders you mentioned contain files with the .crash, .ips и .log extensions. They store information about faults in connected Apple devices. R-Wipe&Clean shows and cleans these crash-logs in the Program Traces section on the iTunes tab in the Logs item (the .log extension) and Mobile Devices Crash Reports (the .crash and .ips extensions).

We checked the cleaning of these two items and found no issues whatsoever.

That's why we ask you to do the following:

Clean two items Logs and Mobile Devices Crash Reports on the iTunes tab in the Program Traces section. Then make screenshots on the following folders:

%APPDATA%\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\AppleInc.iTunes_nzyj5cx40ttqa\LocalCache\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice

and send them to us.

Thank you in advance.

It deletes the log files that you mentioned, but does not delete the left over temp folders.
