It should work if they in their wisdom don't change much in their code.
But Windows 9 Release is due in early 2015.

Sorry I forgot to mention the most important thing :-) Assap Windows9 is available I am going to remove Windows7
and i am going to make a fresh Windows9-install.

Will this/my lisence still run on the same PC but now under Windows9 ?

You may install and use R-Studio on one computer if you buy a single license. Its OS doesn't matter.
