It's a 512-byte single sector stripe size they use, which just needs to be manually typed in. I've submitted this as a feature request in the past, but it's been ignored.

Strage idea to keep this opportunity accessible somewhere else.
Interesting info

Unfortunately we use propertary softwares to destripe the RAIDs so we never dive into this "hidden" option

Maybe sooner or later it will be necessary so thank you

They can all be done, you just have to know how to manually specify the stripe size as it's not one of the default ones. :lol:

This is untrue, it absolutely can be done with R-Studio, I do it all the time. You just have to know how to use the program.

There's no cookie cutter answer to that. You have to analyze the file system structures and figure it out, or just brute force it.

Just figure out which one has the MBR (partition table), that's the first drive in the rotation. Then try every possible stripe size and see if you can open the file system and preview files.
