The newly released R-Drive Image 6.3.6308 should have this bug fixed.

I feel your frustration, I rarely get responses here either.

Just a thought though, should this dialogue not contain the mail server address somewhere or, at least, the SMTP server detail?
True to say, I can't see where but...otherwise, how would the program known how to route your mail?

I'll take a wee look in the morning and get back to you if I find a solution!

Sorry you were ignored, there's nothing worse.

Alrighty then..
So glad I wasted my time. Really appreciate the folks running this taking a moment to answer a question about their software.

Email Notifications and Logging

Greetings...
Long time R-Drive user here. Always really liked the program. However, recently I have needed to diagnose some problems a client of mine is having and I am at an impasse. I tried using the email notifications to send myself info when his backups have occurred, yay or nay, but I have so far been unable to get the notifications to work. The panel to set this up is pretty straight forward it seems, but I keep getting errors (Error: (-6) bad server response).

So panel gets server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com port 465
sender: emailaddress@yahoo.com
recipient: anotheremailaddress@yahoo.com
Auth: emailaddress@yahoo.com
pswd: *******
data is all correct, have tried this many times...

I have also looked into using log files, but it appears that this is only possible for a one time shot? Is there anyway to set them up to be generated automatically which each script?
Thanks for your help...
Randall
