windows creationmedia created partition and deleted my files

by decorix29 » Mon Aug 28, 2023 2:37 am

Hello and Hi.

Hi recently had a hard disk crash on my SSD with Windows 10.
Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention and used my external backup hard disk to create
a Windows media creation boot disk so I could boot from my external hdd drive.
I didn't realize it would delete all my other files on my external harddrive. It created 32 gig windows partition (for the boot).
But all my other files are gone/hidden or on another partition probably. As it only sees the windows boot partition.

My question can I do a test with the demo version to see if it finds the previous partition?
and then later buy a license?

Thanksyou for your help and info.
