That is a good idea and I've passed it to our developers. Please note that it can be used only for R-Studio Technician for Windows, as DeepSpar devices work only on Win10/11-64 bits.

[Suggestionn] R-Studio Technician : Binding license to DeepSpar

Hello team,

Currently, it is possible to bind the license to a USB key, which is a useful feature. However, this requires dedicating a USB port exclusively for that purpose.

It would be interesting to consider, in a future release, the ability to detect a connected DeepSpar device and use it as a secure container for offline license storage.

I understand that DeepSpar is not designed as a standard storage device, but perhaps there could be an opportunity to collaborate with the DeepSpar developers to enable such functionality.

Since DeepSpar integration already exists in R-Studio Technician, this might be achievable without significant architectural changes.

Thank you for considering this suggestion.
