Does R-drive log "no change" backups?

by gkurtenbach » Sat Jun 29, 2024 2:54 pm

If there has been no changes to a partition since its last backup, does R-drive not log any message in the log file?

I ask because I've set r-drive up to wake up my computer and back up my critical data partition every night. The log file shows it's skipping days, but I suspect it's because there were no changes to save. However, it would be reassuring to have a message in the log file saying something like "task run, no changes detected on source, no image created" so one would know that the backup wasn't failed silently.

BTW, the R-drive task in the task scheduler doesn't record its history, so I couldn't check it that way.

Thanks,
Gord
