Do you have your data recovered yet? Assuming that the offline drive isn't toast, this case would have likely been recovered within 1-2 business days by most professional data recovery labs, without the unnecessary risk of permanent data loss.

This morning, Drive 3 (the 4th drive in the array, 278GB) was marked offline. I attempted to force it back online, but it is now showing as missing in the PERC BIOS. The drive array is structured as follows:

Drives 0 & 1: 136GB

Drives 2 to 8 (including the affected Drive 3): 278GB each

I understand the risks of using RAID 0, but I need to recover the data urgently from this system. The server has iDRAC enabled, and I’m willing to provide remote access to a professional who can assist. I’m also happy to pay for your time if you’re able to help me bring Drive 3 online again or retrieve the data from the array.

Do you have a way to independently connect all the drives (even if it's just one at a time) to make images independent of the RAID controller? Can't really do anything through that PERC controller.

I don't mind doing the case remotely for some beer money if you want to hit me up.

The failing drive is
Seagate ST300-MP005'

After rebooting it now shows drive 3 foreign . So the drive is spinning ?

Dell PowerEdge PERC H700 8 physical disk drive array - drive 3 missing
and drive 3 (4th drive in the series) 278GB. 00 & 01 are 136GB and 02 thru 08 are 278GB

I have a dell poweredge with PERC H700 / Raid with 8 physical disk drive array / Raid 0
This morning drive 3 was showing offline. I forced it to go online and now the drive 3 shows missing.
I have data that needs to be retrieved. The poweredge have IDRAC and I can give remote access to the unit to anyone who can help. I will also pay for your time. Appreciate if someone can help to bring drive 3 online again and copy the data out.
