Looks like your hard drive has hardware problems. And the best way for you is to go to a reputable data recovery professional with proper equipment and adequate skill. You won't do much in this situation, and no software can help you. Moreover, further tampering with the disk may even render the data unreadable.

Hi There


I am attempting to scan a WD My Passport drive and I am getting a report in the log under type "System" with the "text" reporting "Read disk at position {xxxx} failed after 1 attempts. The handle is invalid (6)"

R-Studio is able to recognize the disk and correctly identify it but not read any data at all.

Anyone got any clues as to what I can try next?
