Great, thanks for the quick reply, Alt. Running from within Windows is much easier than rebooting to a USB flash drive.

When I try to open an image on a mapped network drive, I click on the NET_DRIVE_0 folder icon, and it shows me all the directories on the network drive. Create image of running Windows system partition
I've rebuilt my desktop after a hard drive failure (from which I successfully recovered files, thanks to R-Studio Emergency.) Now, I'd like to take some pro-active images of my new installation in case of future failures. Hopefully, I'll then be able to recover using the image files.

Actually, the GUI version can access remote network shares even in demo mode. Even after I activated the emergency app, the TUI version could still not map the remote share, but the GUI version could. Note that when I say the TUI version, I'm not referring to the TUI download. NTFS Emergency maps network drive in GUI, not TUI
New user here. Let me start by saying that R-Studio was able to recover data from my badly damaged NTFS partition when a dozen others couldn't; most everything else I tried simply hung when booting up. So my thanks for a great tool that actually works.
