Thanks, that worked. I have no doubt of corruption of the fs. It had viruses, was re-formatted AND had Win installed AND updates!

When I do a scan sometimes it shows the same name of a directory/file many times. In the directories only one will have the indicator that it has child objects.
Am I choosing some incorrect options? Can I select on only the directories that have child object and files that have a non-zero byte count ...
