Sorry to ask, but were you able to review the sent XML files to determine if my syntax was correct or anything else that could lead to failure in recovery?

Yes of course, sending now. Sorry for the delay in response. I've been disheartened by failure and haven't been able to scrape together ample time to figure out how to approach this problem for best chance of success.

Both the old xml and new recover the test environment USB with known good .tib file and the checksum comparison of them is exact. Yay update available as of just under a week ago, June 14, 2013! Now I can get back to attempting recovery!

Good to hear. I never faulted in faith, but didn't anticipate the wait duration for the bug fix. Do the details of the bug fix and anything about the fix get posted anywhere where a curious mind can read up on? Sorry, I'm used to Bugzilla and other bug reporting tools like it.
