Re: File Paths Not Found (but in "Extra Found Files")

Looks like this bug is fixed. It affected only folders deleted from root.

In last build 7.6.158796 published yesterday May 19, 2015.
Build 7.6.158796 almost behaves as well as v6.3 now ...

Re: File Paths Not Found (but in "Extra Found Files")

I did not submit a $MFT and fss for review. The developers should be able to easily reproduce the issue by performing the following:

1) Delete a folder that contains a file or set of files.
2) Open the corresponding disk/volume in R-Studio.
3) Use R-Studio to attempt to navigate to the folder that ...

Re: File Paths Not Found (but in "Extra Found Files")

1. In Metafiles on the partition.
2. Contact our techsupport, they'll tell you how and when to upload the files.
3. Understand your concern. You may browse through the $MFT and fss using the R-Studio's built-in editor. Sure, browse an $MFT copy rather than the original file on the partition ...

Re: File Paths Not Found (but in "Extra Found Files")

Choosing Image File Format for Data Recovery

I have a failing hard drive and would like to create an image file that I can use to recover the data from. However, I would like to be able to use this image file with several data recovery programs, including R-studio, Active@ Undelete, GetDataBack, UFS Explorer etc. I believe that the best type ...
