(even I did not change any of the settings after starting Rstudio).

I would like to list only existing files according their extensions (click on a partition in questions -> extensions)
In order to be able count and calculate the required space to recover them.

I expect that files like e.g. _testfile.txt (mostly with the same size 4096 on ext4fs) are deleted ...

I tested other regex-based file carving recovery tools(header/footers) and I am surprised how much faster R-Studio does work...

Is R-Studio not really a filecarving-recovery tool ?

R-Studio cannot surely understand which file is recoverable and which not until it actually recover, or failed to recover, it. R-Studio writes failed to recover files to its log.
Thank's Alt for the feedback! I should recover several thousand of files... In order to be sure, do i have to check ...

Ok, i copied 69 files to a newly formated USB-tick and did the following:

tab -> G:(Recognized) -> Find/Mark -> (x) deleted files / () existing files -> Find all matched files


Question:
What I am doing wrong, even this way, all (regular/undeleted) 69 files are listed ...

You may install and use R-Studio on one computer if you buy a single license. Its OS doesn't matter.

Sorry I forgot to mention the most important thing :-) Assap Windows9 is available I am going to remove Windows7
and i am going to make a fresh Windows9-install.

Will this/my lisence still run on ...
