Re: Help - Dell PowerEdge PERC H700 8 physical disk drive array - drive 3 missing

Do you have your data recovered yet? Assuming that the offline drive isn't toast, this case would have likely been recovered within 1-2 business days by most professional data recovery labs, without the unnecessary risk of permanent data loss.

Re: Question about Disk Imaging feature in R-Studio: Can I create a disk image of a corrupted partition?

If you create a runtime image or an image with the log enabled, yes. However, if your drive is unstable, it is best to image it with hardware that will help stabilize the hard drive, such as the DeepSpar USB Stabilizer to ensure that you get the best image possible.

Re: RAID 10 can't recover

If 4 drives failed and the RAID went offline, the odds are, at least 2 of them are a mirror set, breaking the stripe. Do you have any details as to the full model of the drives that have failed and what their symptoms are?

Re: stop/cancel unresponsive

It seems to me that you are killing the failing drive and wasted a lot of time with a direct recovery rather than follow best practices of getting a clone first. You should be able to save time by using R-Studio's runtime image to duplicate sectors as you read them and tell it to image the target ...

Thanks. Found that now too.

Now my last challenge. How do I search and select files based on their imaging status, such as "imaged 100%", "contains bad sectors", "contains unread sectors", etc?

Re: R-Studio 9.2.191115

Is there a template location for the HTML reports that we can find and modify so that the reports come out with our branding and not R-Studio's?

The Export Recovery List command -> The File format option HTML -> Export Template -The Export button

Cool, that is what I was looking for. Thanks ...

Re: R-Studio 9.2.191115

I'm playing with the Runtime Imaging functions in the latest update and the porcess to image targeted files seems simple enough. However, I'm having trouble looking for an option to simply image used sectors by bitmap. Am I looking in the wrong spots or is that feature not yet available?

The ...

Re: R-Studio 9.2.191115

Also, how does search for and select the imaged files? I just imaged the Users folder to test it out and when I search for good files, files that haven't even been imaged yet are coming up as good.
