I would have included a log file and or a system dump, but your form does not allow that. I think it would be a time saver to include that feature.

So I am running a licensed copy of R-Drive Image (RDI). It is V7.1 bld 7108. Image creation completes with no errors. When I try and mount an image as a vdisk from the RDI console I get this message "! Cannot connect an image: Maximum number of virtual disks exceeded" and the operation fails.

So I did submit a support ticket and referenced this forum discussion, I did not any place to submit my dump file in that form. Is there a spot to do that or will they ask for it when they get back to me? TX

I forgot to mention, I get the same results when I try and restore the image to the target using a booted windows desktop with R-Drive Image installed on it vs using the startup USB flash drive.

Thanks, its a brand new USB external USB drive and chkdsk /f shows no errors. Will not worry about it.

So I have a basic Simple rotation backup schedule in place. I am using the trial version of R-Drive Image. I created a Startup USB flash drive. I wanted to test the recovery environment:

1: My source Image is from a 1tb SSD, target is a 1tb mechanical drive.
2: UEFI is enabled and secure boot ...

So as long as I have disk space I can choose to only create full images correct?

Right from day one using this drive I see logs errors then a "success". I am attaching the log. Do these error messages in the log with the ! in front of them ...
