I was able to boot a Live Ubuntu usb on a Macbook Pro (Early 2015) and installed R-Studio Demo for Linux. I'm trying to recover some text files from the Macintosh HD (OWC Aura Pro X2 NVMe - PCIe 3.1 x4 SSD containing the main OS) that no longer boot. R-Studio was able to recognize the drive and ...

By the way, the drive is a NVMe M.2 PCie SSD. Can R-Studio Linux recognize these drives?

I'm using the laptop touchpad.

The drive is not encrypted.

When I run R-Studio Emergency GUI for Mac, the cursor is not showing up. I have to use the tab and arrow keys to navigate inside the application. Is this a bug or a limitation of the app?

Hi,

I was able to boot successfully with R-Studio Emergency GUI on a 2015 Macintosh running MacOS Sierra but the Macintosh HD drive is not showing in the list of drive. When I boot using the Mac recovery mode (Command + R) the Macintosh HD is showing up.

Any idea on what might be going on?
