Regarding the colours.

Post by mamister » Fri May 21, 2021 5:36 am

Hi all,

May i know what is the difference between "Unused" which is gray in colour and "Unrecognized" which is green colour? Anywhere that i can read about the details of what the colours mean when doing scanning?

Thanks.

Unused: None of partitions in the current partition layout uses this area. Previous partitions may have used.
Unrecognized: R-Studio couldn't find anything meaningful in this area.

Thanks for reply.

Does it mean that even if its a brand new unused SD card, the whole scan area should be full of "Unrecognized", I suspect I am scanning one new card as I couldn't find a single trace of files inside.

A new SD card usually contains only zeros.
