Hello,
I’m thinking about buying a license, specially the Technician License because i want to move it from one computer to the other if i buy a new PC.
I think it’s ridiculous that you have to buy a new license every time you move from one PC to the other, specially when you are the only/peronal user and i use both Mac and Windows.
Anyway, I can’t find info about the license period.
Is the Technician License per year, Or per version/build, or a one time lifetime license?
And how about the Mac and Windows version because there have different version numbers at the moment.
I think Windows is at build 8.3 at the moment and Mac at 6.5
If i buy a license right now, do i get a the version 9.x (Win)/ version 7.x (Mac) for free of is it better to wait a few months untill both operating systems started a new version?
Thanks,
Regards from the Spain

Re: Tech license
Any license is "one time lifetime license". You may use it until the end of the machine.
Although the Windows, Mac, and Linux versions have different version numbers, they are quite similar in their features. Different version numbers are due to their histories.
Generally, the Windows version is the first to implement new features, while Mac and Linux versions are slightly behind.
You're entitled to one year of updates, minor and major, from the date of license purchase.
