I too am having problems finding these MTS file extensions. In my case, they are from a Canon HD Camcorder which I then on a NAS which experienced some serious faults during a thunderstorm. If you need an MTS video file, I'll be happy to upload as well. Let us know when we you have created a profile for this file type.

However how can I apply to R-Linux?
There is no Settings -> Main -> User's file types option.
Can't find any doc regarding user files tpe setting for R-Linux.
