Could you be more specific about the problem? Doesn't R-Studio find the files? Or are recovered files broken?

Hi, I have the same problem. In the extra found files, no .DOCX come up. And in the TOOLS, SETTINGS, KNOWN FILE TYPES. The Microsoft .DOCX is ticked, but in italic font. Any Idea ?

If R-Studio finds a file which path is clear and correct, it doesn't include it in the Extra Found Files. Maybe, this is the case?
If not, please let us know, we'll investigate into this problem.

We have the same problem on Windows XP, we know there are .docx files on the drive, but in tools->settings->known file types Microsoft .docx is checked, but the font is greyed and italic. It looks like all the office 2007 formats are listed this way. Is there a way to make r-studio specifically look for .docx files? (It found several of her older .doc files just fine)

Thess greyed out file types mean that they cannot be disabled. Please check that R-Studio didn't place those files in some regular folders. If it didn't, we'll check the problem.
