Hi,

I was told by a data recovery company that after you empty the trash on a Mac, there's a process called trim that automatically writes zeros over the sectors so data is not recoverable. Is R-Studio T80+ for Mac or R-Undelete tools that could help to recover these files?

It sounds like with R-Studio T80+ I can run the program from a USB stick (I don't want to install anything on the the MacBook's drive at this time) - is this possible?

Unfortunately, this is generally true.

R-Undelete surely cannot. R-Studio (not necessary T80+) maybe, you should try. This article The best way to recover files from a Mac system disk may help you to install R-Studio for Mac and give you some general advice on what has to be done.

But try before buy. You can perform all recovery actions except saving recovered files in R-Studio for Mac demo mode, without purchases and registrations.
