Recovered files don't seem to work - right tool?

Hi there, I have an SD card from gopro that says "not recognised" and requires formatting.
However in windows disk manager I can see a healthy partition... so I figured it might be recoverable.

I was recommended R-Photo, so used it to create an image file, and then a deep scan, and it found all the files, and the size/naming all looks good - so it feels like it found genuine data.

However after using the recovery, none of the files actually play.

Is there another step, as I know video files can be sensitive, so just a wrong "header" can make them unplayable, but I feel all the bits should be in there somewhere...

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Did you try Deep Scan? Deep Scan.

Yes, I did a deep scan, and those are the instructions that I followed.

I saw on RescuePro that there is a "fragmented" option intended for videos shot on certain cameras, perhaps that's the problem, as there doesn't seem to be a similar option on R-Photo
