Hi - a couple of weeks ago one of our 8Tb SAN (Thecus 8800) reported as raw to one of our servers (Windows 2008 R2) - we were advised by Thecus to buy your product to scan the volume to see if data was still available.
We did and it can see the data. I then created another SAN with 11Tb to be the recovery area and started copying the data on Friday, when I came in on Monday I noticed the free space on the new SAN was down to 700Gb and I thought it had worked - but the recovery process was only 20% through, ie, it had only recovered 2Tb but this used up 10Tb on the SAN.
I then tried it on another spare SAN we have - this time setup as JBOD so there is 15Tb available - this time it couldn't even write a 365k file without say there was no space. Both SANS (the one I am trying to recover) and the new one have XFS file systems and are accessed via iSCSI. Do you have any suggestions?
BTW I tried to submit this as a support request, but your Captcha verification is messed up on the form.
Thanks
