Hello

What is the best approach to save all (restoreable) foldernames to a file or to print them?

Thank you!

I believe you're talking about R-Studio. There's an option in the Technician version to save file recovery lists.

Thank's Alt for the feedback!

Under Find/Mark i marked/activated:
Look in: (x) current Folders and Subfolders
Look at: (x) Files (x) Folders
Find Mark Mode: "Find all matched Files"
(x) existing Files

Under "Save File names" i marked/activated:
(x) save only marked fiels/folders
(x) save subfolders

Poblems/Questions:
1. this approach does not save foldernames
2. even i selected only (x) Graphics, Pictures,
in the output filename-file, only filenames listed under Tab/folder /W/O Extensions are written to ( //v/W/O Extension.abc )

What am i doing wrong?

Do you have the Technician version?

No. I have been told that's a standard-feature of R-Studio... I tried it with R-Studio Windows 7.5 and R-Studio Linux 3.5/3.6/3.7 ....

Generally said: making a file- and folderlist of the whole partition works, but not, if only a subfolder is selected :-(

"My" RStudio (Windows and Linux-version) does exeactly behave the same. definitely a bug :-(

Maybe it's important to mention: asap there are many folders :-)

I've reported the problem to our developers.
