First, Sorry about my bad english

My Problem:
- I deleted some Files on my NAS (\\ds212\video\Familie\*.*). I have a no Backup. The files are Video Files (mts, m2ts, mpg)

What i did:
- On my Synology NAS DS212 i have two Disks (Raid SHR). Now i stopped my NAS an removed the First Disk (Volume1) and attached it to my Computer (Windwos)
- On my Computer now i have installed R_Linux With this software i would like to restore the deleted Files
- I did a scan of the volume with R_Linux

Result:
- Now i can see the deleted Files. But the deleted Files have all 0 Bytes

- Is there something wrong on my work? What other i could do?

Well, as I understand correctly, RAID SHR with 2 disks is actually a mirror. So, you can recover files from one disk.
But Synology NAS runs under Linux, and when Linux deletes files it deletes all information on how the files have been stored on the disk. So, you have to scan the disk in search for known file types (file search for their signatures) and try to recover files from Extra Found Files. See R-Linux help for details: Disk Scan.

I can see some files stored in Extra Found Files (see Attachment). But now i have the problem that i can't restore all Files. They are to big. Much bigger then the originaly Files has been. A small mts-File Video with 3 sec Duration usually is about 5000 KB. Now, after Recovery it is 33'000 KB. This is the same video with the same duration from 3 seconds (but about 6x bigger). What is wrong.

Is ther a other solution to recover my deleted files? Is there an other Freeware Software which works (maybe) better?

Files are too big because R-Linux was unable to find the correct ends of the files. This article File Recovery Basics: How Data Recovery Works explains why.
You may use its built-in editor to "cut off" the end of the files.

Is it a "big" thing to do that? Do you know a Freeware Software ?(Easy to do)

It is strange, but i can see all my deleted files under "Recognized" (see Attachment). The only problem ist that they have all 0 Bytes.

No, free R-Linux and payed R-Studio have the same data recovery engine. The problem is that when Linux deletes files, it completely removes all information about them. The only option is to use Known File Types for file file recovery. But file names and the folder structure will be lost.

there's a way to recover some large deleted files on Linux FS, but it's a manual process.
