Hello!

Using your R-Undelete NTFS product we restored some deleted files successfully, but the content of all restored files (even .txt files) is corrupt, like f.e.

Can anyone help?

Thank you in advance,

What did happen with the system? And what have you done to recover data?

The system is fine, but unfortunately an important folder got been deleted and I need to restore this deleted folder. To restore the data I ran the R-Undelete NTFS tool, nothing more.

Did you recover the data back to the same drive you were recovering off of?

No, I recovered the data to a USB connected SSD

It's possible that the files in the folder were just overwritten with new data. Was the drive used much or any new data added since when the folder was deleted?

No, the computer was no longer used after the file deletion and was shut down.

I think you should scan the disk.

Sorry Alt, I don't understand your reply! What do you mean with "you should scan the disk", for what reason?

I mean this: Detailed Scan.
