Please let me know if you are now able to reproduce this issue. You could, if you would like, create a program that gets the output from the website https://checkip.amazonaws.com and print that to the stdout. That's what I did in my python script I gave you. Then call it like I do in my .cmd script that I gave to you previously. That is, if you don't want to use my exe or my python script options. It should work just fine if you execute the script outside of R Drive, but as a post backup process, it won't print the output.

Is this site available under the Local System account? This is the problem.

If you don't want to go through the hassle of installing python and setting it up, I created an executable based on that python code I just posted. It's 64-bit and it should run under 64-bit windows.
The program requires python310.dll to run.

The local system account is an administrator account. It has access to the internet.

Sorry, but I thought that executable was portable. I'll work on making it portable. I found a way to do that.

It seems that I can't access the internet under a process run by your r drive image software's post backup process. Do you agree? If not, here's an executable and a .cmd file that can be modified to run it. Sorry about that last executable. This one should work. Here's a link to the zip file and the .cmd file. I can't upload it since it's too big. It won't allow it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N9l9aQ ... sp=sharing

Let me know when you've reproduced the problem.

I got this:

We're sorry. You can't access this item because it is in violation of our Terms of Service.

Find out more about this topic at the Google Drive Help Center.

I’m running out of options here. If you create a program that gets the output from that Amazon site on the internet it will run under windows but not under your r drive process.

Try copying and pasting that link in a browser.

Did you try copying and pasting that link in a browser? Were you able to reproduce the problem now?

Sure. Moreover, I asked another person to try to download these files. The same result: "We're sorry. You can't access this item because it is in violation of our Terms of Service."

I see R drive creates a task in task manager for each backup. I can setup each of my scripts to run after the task it's supposed to run after. That's not hard. Hope this helps anyone else. Why doesn't the r drive software do that for me? When we create a task and suggest a task to run after the backup, R Drive could create another task in task manager to run that task I specify.

Frankly, I don't understand your passage. What can't r drive software do to you?
