R-Drive Image Log Errors

Post by DonStevenson » Sun Mar 19, 2023 12:02 pm

Hi

I am running the most recent R-drive image and I am using a brand new 5TB seagate USB external drive as my backup drive/image repository. Right from day one using this drive I see logs errors then a "success". I am attaching the log. Do these error messages in the log with the ! in front of them mean anything? This external drive is formatted as NTFS/Basic. Chkdsk /f claims this drive is clean, its also brand new.

It seems that this is a similar problem with an external drive, which I also have:

Most likely, the last sector on ST5000LM000-2AN170 cannot be read. Probably, a disk error.
It doesn't affect the backup of Samsung SSD 850 EVO.

Thanks, its a brand new USB external USB drive and chkdsk /f shows no errors. Will not worry about it.

I appreciate the reply.
