Restore just 1 file

Post by RR60 » Thu Jan 18, 2024 4:48 pm

Can I restore just one file from a complete image of my C drive.

Tried to look it up. But the instructions in help files dont match what I am seeing.

Can it be done?
I could not find the way to select just one file.
Is there a you tube on this

Thanks

Just mark the necessary file and click the Recover Marked button.

That is the problem I cant see how to select just one file from a full image. And not finding a recover marked button.
I have attached 2 screenshots.

1. Shows the first screen. I can highlight a file (cached files). But then the next button is not available. So only option is to click just the last full image, then next.

2. Shows the next window where I can drag and drop to restore. But I only see how to select the full drive.

Thanks

This help page should help you: Restore Data from an Image -> Restoring selected files and folders
