Fixing a corrupted r-drive image.

Saw mentioned in a previous post that a corrupted (error #600) image must first be inspected to see if it is possible to attempt repair. How might one go about inspecting a corrupt .rdr image? Are you referring to opening in a hex-editor?

In my case, I've done a DMDE recovery of a SuperClone image of a failing drive that this corrupted .rdr image in question was stored upon...so I believe I may be able to recover any missing data it may need to fix if it. Thanks in advance

That's not enough. A lot of work has to be done in addition.

In fact, we need to have the entire file to inspect it, and this is a lot of very tedious work. Which not always guaranties success.
