Really read-only disk?

In last build of R-Drive Image I connected my image as a virtual logical disk. I thought it had to be read-only as your Help stated. To my surprise :o I was able to copy data there, change it, delete. So, it looks like not "read-only". Why is that?

I am afraid when you disconnect and then connect the disk you won't see your changes.

Well, but anyway I suppose it is not correct to call such disk "read-only". Do you agree with me?

Actually I think it may be better that way, I mean to have the virtual drive seen as non read-only, for reducing compatibility issues with XP, Vista.

They are read-only because you can't actually write on them.
