When I create an image of 8.37gb of a 40gb basic NTFS drive , I select the only partition "C" and save it to a mapped network share "Z" and save as an arc file. With either compression ratio fast or small, whether image is automatic or ANY fixed size, no password, no description, with Windows Vol. S/S Serv. w/ notify on, R-TT unchecked, no AUX apps. Two images are created, one with 4.13gb in size and a second depending on the compression ratio the file is no bigger than a gig and the file name is truncated with a two. I am unable to get one image file.

What's the file system of the Z disk? If it's FAT32, its maximum file size limit is 4 GB, that is why R-Drive Image had to split the image into 2 files.
