Src sel scrn (raid) does not show drv parts on same line

I am a long time user of R-Drive Image but with the latest releases I have run into some GUI/TUI issues while attempting to perform a backup with the startup media. If the source server has two physical drives configured as RAID-1 using the MB embedded RAID functionality (Intel Matrix Manager) the source selection screen lists each partition on the raid drive on a separate line - as if there are two physical drives present in the RAID configuration. In fact there is one drive configured in the RAID configuration with two partitions. Two partitions is the default for Windows Server 2008 R2 installs (one 100 MB partition and another partition for the C: drive). In the source selection screen these two partitions are being listed as two drives. I have tried selecting the partitions listed but you can only select one. Doing multiple passes to perform the backup misses the MBR and the Active state of the first partition resulting in a big mess. I am seeing this anomaly with v5207 and v5104. I performed a test with v4279 and the source selection screen was correct and I was able to select the entire drive along with both partitions. It seems that somewhere along the way a bug was introduced in the source selection panel when a RAID-1 is present in the system. Do your developers know about this bug? Is there a fix forthcoming? To get around the problem I was forced to break the mirror and set the BIOS back to non-RAID mode. Then I was able to select the entire drive and create the image. Luckily, using this image, I can do a restore back into a newly configured RAID-1 volume and it works.

Thanks!
Dave Garner

Please, contact our techsupport with this problem, they'll help you to solve it.
Most likely, this is indeed a bug in the Linux kernel in the startup version.
