"Stored Usage Statistics" in 20.0 (Build 2327) corrupts my Brave profiles

I updated to R-Wipe & Clean 20.0 (Build 2327) on my Win10 Pro 21H1 machine recently.
Every time I run R-Wipe & Clean for Brave, it corrupts my Brave profiles. I have five profiles, and all of them have been corrupted in this way. What happens is that I start Brave after cleaning, and Brave says "Profile error occurred ... Your preferences file is corrupt or invalid. ... Brave is unable to recover your settings."
I know it is R-Wipe & Clean because if I restore my profiles from a backup, everything is fine until I run R-Wipe & Clean again. Then, immediately, the corruption occurs again.
I have traced this problem to the "Stored Usage Statistics" item. If I DE-select that item, I can run R-Wipe & Clean without corrupting my Brave profiles. If I re-enable "Stored Usage Statistics" and then clean, Brave reports profile corruption immediately. The correlation is clear.
