Hello everyone, I'm on my first attempt to recover files from a RAID 1. (Buffalo LS520D NAS, 2xdrive system).
Do I need to mess with rebuilding the RAID via imaging and such? Or, can I just run a straight recovery scan against a single drive?
I'm open to any advice you can offer. Thank you!

Re: Recoverying from NAS RAID 1
Straight recovery against a single drive, assuming it was actually RAID 1 and not a RAID 0.
You'll likely find a couple of partitions. The first one is the NAS's own operating system, then the next one is the user data area. So make sure you scan far enough.
