BTRFS support request or how to Build the spanned volume?

Post by Sfarza » Thu Sep 21, 2023 4:18 pm

Hello there,

I have a HDD from a Synology NAS with BTRFS as main FS. The NAS was setup in mirror and I need to recover the data from this HDD. How to I build the spanned volume?

If there is no support for BTRFS, when can we expect support for this file system?

If this is a mirror, you don't need to create a virtual mirror, one disk will do. We're planning to support BTRFS, but not in the nearest future. Meanwhile, you may scan the disk for known file types to recover files.
