Files from Raid5 all corrupted

Post by Vanleiz » Mon Apr 12, 2010 10:11 pm

Hi,

My computer had a problem booting for a unkwon reason and after couple resets, it booted in the motherboard Bios. I left the Bios by clicking save and Exit.
Unfortunaly, there was a change in the HD settings so the RAID broke.

I put the settings back and enter the Raid Bios configuration and I saw 2 out of 5 disk were now non raid so the raid was failed and no way to bring it back.

I then Created a VRaid and put all 5 disk in the same order and made a full scan. All the files and directory were found but when I recover them, they are all corrupt. These files are all 10 to 30G .ISO files.

All disk are running well, nothing have been written on it or deleted.

Any idea ?

Thank you !

Most likely you specified wrong raid parameters such as disk order, block size and order, etc.
