Create Virtual Raid - Synology DS209 NAS Raid0

Post by chrisrhob » Tue Sep 24, 2013 12:47 pm

I would like to ask how can I create a virtual raid for my Synology DS209 NAS that has 2xWD2TB HDD in Raid 0. Our NAS reported that the drives crashed, one is "normal" while the other says "not initialized"

Loading the drives in R-Studio gave out something like this:

My question now is, how do I create a virtual raid? Do I add the detected volumes from one of the drives + the hdd with no detected volumes? im not very familiar if r-studio is capable of recreating my NAS Raid-0. I hope you can guide me on this.

Thank you

You have to add the real HDDs. As I understand, those are two WDCs.
