Re: Data Recovery using R Studio for Mac - LaCie 2BigQuadra
Hello,
it's funny because i'm encounting the exact same kind of issue with 2 disks from a Lacie 2Big Quadra on which i got almost 2 years of backup sessions of my recording studio, and i really need to have an access to those disks. Here are the facts :
For some unknown reason, the 2 disks didn't mount anymore a month ago. After some posts with Lacie, I finally found that the Lacie Box is broken so now i got those 2 disks inside my mac pro and i can only see them via terminal or r-studio. It's like there are no partitions in it.
After some search i found you, tried the demo version, ran a scan and did some other stuff, and tonight i'm reading this post and i'm wondering if you found some solutions to your problem because i was thinking you might be the only solution i found.
Please let me know

Re: Data Recovery using R Studio for Mac - LaCie 2BigQuadra
Can you post the screenshot of R-Studio's Drives panel with the LaCie drives.
Re: Data Recovery using R Studio for Mac - LaCie 2BigQuadra
i appreciate you answered me:)
i'm actually processing a copy of one of my disk with terminal, sudo dd.... so i'm not sure i can do something right now but i sure will do it.
At this moment i only have a screenshot of the first scan i made in the very beginning, with those 2 disks i've put in another Lacie bay i got, connected in F800. If you need something more specific, please let me know and i'll do it.

Well, I need the screenshot of R-Studio with those LaCie disks connected. Depending of your initial LaCie setting, you need to assemble them as a RAID0 or 1.
Re: Data Recovery using R Studio for Mac - LaCie 2BigQuadra
ok, so do i need to run a scan on both drives ?
Re: Data Recovery using R Studio for Mac - LaCie 2BigQuadra
No. You need to create a virtual RAID0 (most likely) or RAID1 - depending on the settings of your LaCie 2BigQuadra and scan it. The problem will be with the RAID parameters. Maybe, LaCie techsupport could help. And scan that RAID.
Re: Data Recovery using R Studio for Mac - LaCie 2BigQuadra
got it...i'll do that and let you know (will try to get some info from Lacie but i think they won't help me)
thanks
thanks

So here is a capture of the scan for the virtual raid 0 i made. I'm pretty sure of the order of both disks.
i'm launching a scan for a virtual mirror just in case but i think it was a raid0 configuration...You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
