Mr. Vincent says he has formatted 1 drive

so he has not formatted the RAID 0 :-D so the catalog file has not been wiped off.

so theoretically it has been created an empty HFS+ filesystem on that single drive with really few LBAs overwritten by the process.

I'm optimistic.

I would hope you are right, but I'm not so optimistic. I'd say I'm more of a "realist". :D
