Improvements for R-Studio
Improvements for R-Studio
Hi Guys
I had a case here with a Lenovo NAS where after I connect both drives to the PC, using R-studio I needed to create and configure the RAID with all the parameters.
But using UFS explorer, it automatically detected those details and the partition showed immediately without any trouble. I just copied the data out.
I think you could improve this also in R-Studio.
Thanks

Re: Improvements for R-Studio
What is the NAS model, and what is the R-Studio version?
Re: Improvements for R-Studio
Hi
It was a Lenovo IX2 using latest version of R-Studio.

Re: Improvements for R-Studio
Is that one that runs EMC OS? If so, it's probably gonna be an expensive case...
Re: Improvements for R-Studio
It wasn't very expensive, because UFS could read the data imediately

Re: Improvements for R-Studio
So I guess not the EMC OS one. I've just see a few of their NASs advertised as having EMC OS as the operating system. Maybe it's just some EMC branding (I hope) and not a bonafide EMC Unix OS on there. I keep dreading when those start showing up.
Re: Improvements for R-Studio
To be honest, I didn't even checked if the NAS was working or not.
Just pulled the HDD's off, imaged them, connect to a PC and UFS did the rest
